ACRYLICS ON 40 X 30CM CANVAS BOARD (UNFRAMED)
I hope 'Untitled' will not be lost in the abyss of anonymity for too much longer, but unfortunately as of writing this I have not arrived at a name worthy of the flash of joy it gives me when I glance momentarily at it.
Inspired by the first 'Humanity', this piece seemingly took on a life of its own as I began to explore the variations in the blues and the yellows.
In a way it talked to me about Life, and about my illness, and I thought about the colours representing some kind of blanket; comforting but real, and true. Perhaps that is the role it plays for Me, and yet something entirely different for someone else.
Then again, maybe it's just a picture of a few hundred balloons waiting to be inflated.
