One summer afternoon, shortly after my nineteenth birthday I took a spontaneous trip to Paris.  I had an urge to wander through Montmartre and stroll down the Champs Elysee, sit in cafes overlooking the Eiffel Tower and visit the Musee D'Orsay and The Louvre.

'Le Parisien Pompidoudlements' was inspired by the memories of that trip, which I was fortunate to have made during a thrilling Van Gogh exhibition at the Musee D'Orsay.  Paris is, of course, a beautiful city and I hope to make a return there someday soon.
