The Human Condition is described as ‘all of the characteristics and key events that compose the essentials of human existence, including birth, growth, emotion, aspiration, conflict, and mortality.’ One of my most-loved works, ‘Humanity: One Complex Kaleidoscope of Colour’ is both a celebration of that human condition, and a question of why we struggle so much to make it truly successful.
Each stroke of the brush, each colour both separate and blended with another can be thought of as civilisation, as culture, and as one.
